School Information

Highlees Primary School is a mixed primary school catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11, serving the area of Westwood and some parts of Ravensthorpe.

The school was built in the 1960's on traditional lines and consists of two large halls and fourteen classrooms. All classrooms are fitted with projectors and whiteboards for the effective use of ICT in supporting the teaching and learning. Wireless technology allows access to the internet and the school's server from all areas of the school.

The school and all its grounds are strictly in a 'no smoking zone';
In the interests of hygiene we ask that dogs are not brought onto the school grounds;
We ask that no one parks on the yellow lines outside the school
